Spices can help you lose weight

here's the spices that work the best to help you burn bodyfat:

1. Capsaicin, the compound gives red chili pepper its heat, increased energy
via heat expenditure by up to 23% after ingesting it at breakfast.

2. Black Pepper increases body heat thermogenesis) by bonding to TRPV1
receptors in the brain.

3. Turmeric has both anti-cancer and pro-thermogenic support. Best of two
worlds if you ask me.

Combine these three spices: Red chili pepper, black pepper and turmeric, and use
them liberally (as you can handle them) on your lunch and dinner meals.

Just be careful not to overdo the spices, otherwise you'll end up with more heartburn
than fatburn.

The Apple Trick

The pectin and soluble fiber in the apple and the peal is where the magic happens. When it dissolves in water, soluble fiber creates a gummy, gel-like substance that binds bile acids and draws cholesterol out of the bloodstream. Soluble fiber's stickiness also slows the asorption of carbohydrates, keeping blood sugar levels on an even keel.

Plus, apples require chewing. Anything you have to chew tires the jaw muscles. This
signals the brain that you have eaten sufficiently. Pretty cool trick, eh?

So, an apple a day (or two... or more)keeps more than the doctor away: It keeps you from overeating and helps you burn bodyfat by regulating your caloric intake
naturally. No counting required.

I took this cool info from the

I eat when I stress

I'm definitely an emotional eater. Have you ever had a day where you eat and eat and eat some more even though you know you are not hungry? I've tried to figure out why I do this to myself...okay I do have a fair amount of stress but THAT MUCH??

It's not fun having an emotional dependency on food...I want to learn to enjoy food without guilt or remorse. Uncontrolled eating may relieve stress but it makes me feel a certain lack of control, which leads to stress. This stress lays the groundwork for my next binge. When other emotions pile up, I reach a point where I finally lose control and let go of my good resolutions.

I found this program, sounds quite good...have a look and let e know what you think...

Coffee & weight loss

I've finally stopped my coffee intake completely...haven’t had a cup for over a week now and I feel good, my skin has cleared up, and I'm drinking more water now! I stopped drinking the coffee originally because it was becoming a big problem for me, I was drinking between 5 to 6 mugs of coffee a day and they each contained two tsp of sugar!

So I was wondering what other effects coffee could have on a person and if it really does have an effect on weight loss etc. This is what I found:

It's addictive. Help Here!
It's a stimulant.
It alters mood.

And -- it's not good for weight loss.
There are two basic reasons coffee is a problem for the person trying to lose weight. The first reason is psychological, the second physiological.

The added stimulation and nervousness from the coffee makes you feel edgy. And the blood sugar fluctuations it produces contributes enormously to cravings.

Coffee stimulates the adrenals, the glands responsible for stress hormones. The constant assault on these poor glands, from coffee, sugar, stress and daily life, can ultimately lead to a condition known as adrenal exhaustion.

Coffee also increases urinary secretion of important minerals such as magnesium, potassium and sodium and uses up a fair amount of vitamin B1. Not only that, the coffee plant itself is a virtual repository for toxins such as pesticides and other harmful chemicals.

And it can raise blood pressure and interfere with sleep.

Still want to drink coffee?? :-)
